Trubbish in the anime

Trubbish debuted in Here Comes the Trubbish Squad!, where a group of kindergartners befriended it despite their teacher Daniela's fear it would spread a stench through the school; it was later adopted after its stench faded around people it trusted. Four Trubbish and a Garbodor grew angry when Ash's Oshawott ate from their box of apples in Lost at the League!, and Pokémon hunters used a Trubbish to poison a lake in an attempt to draw out Suicune in Healing the Healer!.

Trubbish across the TCG

Trubbish's first card was a 2011 Noble Victories Common illustrated by MAHOU, followed by a Dragons Exalted Common by Tomokazu Komiya. Plasma Storm gave the line three separate printings in one set, an Uncommon by Kagemaru Himeno and two Commons by Kouki Saitou and Midori Harada.

White Flare paired a standard Common Trubbish by OKUBO with an illustration rare by Oswaldo KATO, and the Mega Evolution era's Chaos Rising set added a further Common printing illustrated by Souichirou Gunjima.
