Garbodor in the anime

Roxie's Garbodor easily defeated Ash's Pignite and Palpitoad during her Gym battle in Rocking the Virbank Gym! Part 2 before being knocked out by a paralyzed Pikachu. Zipp's Garbodor debuted in Young Kiawe Had a Farm! and served as his main Pokémon throughout Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, while a Garbodor capable of Gigantamaxing was used by one of Oleana's subordinates against Goh's Dynamaxed Raboot in Sword and Shield: The Darkest Day!. A group of Pokémon hunters also used a Garbodor to poison a lake and draw out Suicune in Healing the Healer!, and in Lost at the League!, a Garbodor and four Trubbish grew furious after Ash's Oshawott unknowingly ate from their box of apples.

Garbodor across the eras

Garbodor appeared in 2011's Noble Victories as an Uncommon illustrated by match, and Evolving Skies later gave it a full V and VMAX treatment across four cards, including Ultra Rare and Secret Rare versions illustrated by aky CG Works and 5ban Graphics. The Mega Evolution era continued the line into 2026's Chaos Rising with an Uncommon by HYOGONOSUKE.
