Returns and Refunds

For cards and products sold and shipped by Cardboard Alpha. Last updated 2026-10-18.

The short version

All sales are final. If a card arrives damaged, is the wrong card, or is not in the stated condition, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will replace it or refund you in full.

No returns or exchanges for any other reason. United States orders only.

The full policy

All sales are final
We do not accept returns or exchanges on cards or products we sell. Once an order ships, it is yours. Please check the card, the condition and the quantity in your cart before you pay: the condition of every house card is stated on its page and again at checkout, and the price you see there is the price you pay, plus shipping and any sales tax shown before you confirm.
If we got it wrong
If a card arrives damaged, is the wrong card, or is not in the condition stated on its page, that is our mistake and we put it right. Tell us within 14 days of delivery through the contact page with your order number and a photo of the card as it arrived. We will either send a replacement or refund the full amount you paid for that item, including its share of shipping and tax, to your original payment method. If we need the card back we send a prepaid label; you never pay to return our error.
What is not covered
A change of mind, a price that moved after you bought, a card that graded lower than you hoped, and normal variation within a stated condition (a Near Mint card may show light whitening or a minor print line) are not defects and are not refundable.
Cancelling before it ships
Orders leave within 1 to 3 business days and arrive 2 to 5 days after that, within the United States only. If you contact us before your order has shipped we will cancel it and refund you in full. Once it has a tracking number it cannot be cancelled.
Lost or undelivered
Every order ships with tracking. If tracking shows no movement for 10 days, or the carrier marks the parcel lost, tell us and we will replace it or refund you in full. A parcel marked delivered to the address you gave us is delivered; please make sure the address is right before you pay.
How refunds arrive
Refunds go back to the payment method you used. We issue them within 2 business days of agreeing one; your bank or card issuer may take a further 5 to 10 business days to show it.
Cards bought from a marketplace
Most card pages link to listings on other marketplaces. Those purchases are made with that seller, on that site, under its own return and buyer-protection rules. This policy covers only orders where Cardboard Alpha is the seller, which the checkout and your order confirmation state.
