Arven

Arven on cards: two Supporters and a Destined Rivals team

Arven's Supporter debuted in the Scarlet & Violet base set (March 2023). It searches the deck for an Item card and a Pokémon Tool card, and the set printed it as an Uncommon and an Ultra Rare by GIDORA and a Special Illustration Rare by kantaro. Obsidian Flames (2023) reprinted the Uncommon, and Paldean Fates (2024) added a second Special Illustration Rare, by aspara.

Destined Rivals (2025) turned him into a team: Arven's Toedscool, Toedscruel, Maschiff, Skwovet, Greedent and Mabosstiff ex, plus the Item Arven's Sandwich. Arven's Mabosstiff ex appears as a Double Rare, an Ultra Rare and a Special Illustration Rare by Yuriko Akase, and Arven's Greedent has an Illustration Rare by Natsumi Yoshida.

How collectors approach Arven's cards

Every Arven card so far comes from the Scarlet & Violet era, so his run is short. Three of his printings are Special Illustration Rares: the two versions of his Supporter (Scarlet & Violet and Paldean Fates) and Arven's Mabosstiff ex. The Destined Rivals cards follow his game story closely, with Mabosstiff as the ex card and Arven's Sandwich as a nod to his cooking.
