Zorua is the Tricky Fox Pokémon, a pure Dark type introduced in Pokémon Black and White. Its only ability, Illusion, disguises it as the last Pokémon in its party until it takes a hit, and Zorua and Zoroark, including their regional forms, are the only Pokémon that can have it. Zorua evolves into Zoroark at level 30. Pokémon Legends: Arceus added Hisuian Zorua, a Normal and Ghost type regional form.
Zorua's first card is Black & White #70 from April 2011, a Common illustrated by Kouki Saitou. Our catalog lists 25 Zorua printings across 20 sets spanning five eras. Hidden Fates printed a Shiny rare Zorua in its Shiny Vault subset in 2019, and an SVP Black Star Promo gave it N's name: in Black 2 and White 2, one of the Pokémon N released is a Zorua the player can receive. Shrouded Fable (2024) and White Flare (2025) each added an illustration rare Zorua.
Zorua debuted in the movie Zoroark: Master of Illusions, where the villain Grings Kodai used it to blackmail its foster mother, Zoroark, into attacking Crown City. The Zorua escaped, met Ash and his friends, befriended Celebi, and helped bring Kodai down with Zoroark and the three Shiny Legendary beasts that guard the city. In the Black and White series, a young filmmaker named Luke cast his Zorua in several roles in his movies.

Zorua cards span 2011 to 2025, and every one of the 25 Zorua cards carries a market value. The most valuable Zorua card is the Common from BW Black Star Promos in 2011, with the White Flare illustration rare from 2025 in 2nd place. The ten leading cards hold 97 percent of the total value, so Zorua card value sits almost entirely in a short list of prints.
The BW Black Star Promos Zorua from 2011 leads Zorua card value by 2 times over the next card, the Illustration rare from White Flare in 2025. Shrouded Fable's 2024 Illustration rare ranks 3rd, and the Hidden Fates Shiny Vault Shiny rare from 2019 ranks 4th. An illustration rare is a modern rarity built around full-card artwork, and a shiny rare is the alternate-color version of a Pokémon. Fifth is the Zorua from McDonald's Collection 2011.
Black & White supplies 9 of the 25 leading Zorua cards, Scarlet & Violet 6, Sun & Moon 4, and XY and Sword & Shield 3 each. The newest era's leader is the White Flare Zorua from 2025, 2nd overall. All ten of the top ten and all 25 of the top 25 are modern cards, with none from the WOTC era, which is what vintage means here. Modern is every later era.
Among the ten leading Zorua cards, 4 are printed as Common, 2 as Illustration rare, 2 as Promo and 1 as Shiny rare. Widening to the leading 25, Common grows to 16 cards, with 2 Illustration rare, 2 Promo, 1 Shiny rare and 1 Uncommon. Commons from Black & White and Dark Explorers sit alongside the promo and illustration rare prints, so the most valuable Zorua cards are not limited to the highest printed rarities.
By the value of its single leading card, Zorua ranks 285th of 1020 species with priced cards. By the combined value of its ten leaders it ranks 256th of 753. Zoroark, the other member of the evolution line, ranks 84th of 1020 by its top card. Zorua's market is built on one promo Common and a few modern illustration prints, with the rest of the species trailing well behind.
