Stakataka is an Ultra Beast made up of roughly 150 individual brick-like stone lifeforms stacked into a four-sided tower with a leg on each corner. It has no pre-evolution or evolution, and can disguise itself as a stone building by planting itself on the ground to sleep.
Not counting Mega Evolved Pokémon, Stakataka has the highest Defense stat of all Steel types, and it is the heaviest Rock-type Pokémon as well as the slowest Pokémon that can learn Trick Room.
Stakataka's earliest set appearance came in Celestial Storm, which included three GX prints by 5ban Graphics, an Ultra Rare and a Secret Rare among them; it also has two SM Black Star promos by Hiroki Asanuma and Shin Nagasawa. Unbroken Bonds added a Rare by nagimiso, and Hidden Fates Shiny Vault closed with a Shiny rare GX also by 5ban Graphics.
