Rellor is a small brown beetle-like Pokémon with four horn-like head protrusions, a pink face with a bulbous nose, and beige maze-like stripes across its back. It evolves into Rabsca when leveled up after walking 1,000 steps outside its Poké Ball with the Let's Go! feature. Rellor rolls its mud ball while upside down, building it from dirt, sand and psychic energy, and guards it above its own life because the energy it needs to evolve matures inside; its strong hind legs can hoist the ball over its body.
Rellor appears to be based on a dung beetle, and its abdomen pattern resembles a cartoon feces pile when viewed upside down. Its mud ball rolling may reference dorodango, the Japanese art of shaping polished mud spheres, in place of a literal dung ball.
Rellor debuted in Paldea Evolved with commons from Kouki Saitou and Anesaki Dynamic, then Paldean Fates added a Misa Tsutsui shiny rare. Temporal Forces, Surging Sparks, and Destined Rivals each contributed further commons, with Toshinao Aoki illustrating both the Surging Sparks and Destined Rivals printings.
