Rabsca is a teal, metallic beetle-like Pokémon that perpetually floats upside down, with red facial markings, long white eyebrow-like hairs, and star-shaped pupils that are usually closed. It evolves from Rellor leveled up after walking 1,000 steps with the Let's Go! feature. Its double-layer ball glows brightly and holds a cocoon-like infant with its own separate in-game model, distinct from Rellor, which Rabsca gently rolls with its hind legs.
Rabsca appears to be based on the sacred scarab beetle and on Khepri, the Egyptian scarab-faced god associated with the rising sun and renewal of life, a theme reflected in how Rabsca learns the move Revival Blessing.
Rabsca debuted in episode HZ107, where four assisted Indi and Rubina in a battle against Roy and Ult. On cards, Rabsca debuted in Paldea Evolved with a rare by Oswaldo KATO and an illustration rare by nagimiso, then Paldean Fates added a Nelnal shiny rare. Temporal Forces and Surging Sparks followed with an uncommon and a rare, and Destined Rivals introduced a Rabsca ex double rare by N-DESIGN Inc.
