Electivire completes the Elekid line. Elekid evolves into Electabuzz at level 30, and Electabuzz becomes Electivire only when traded while holding an Electirizer, one of the held items Generation 4 introduced to give older Pokémon new evolutions, alongside the Magmarizer that turns Magmar into Magmortar. Motor Drive makes Electivire immune to Electric-type moves and raises its Speed when one hits it, while its hidden ability, Vital Spirit, keeps it from falling asleep. It stands 1.8 m tall and weighs 138.6 kg.
Electivire was the first Pokémon Paul revealed. It battled Ash's Pikachu as an Elekid in When Pokémon Worlds Collide!, evolved into Electabuzz during a tag battle alongside Ash's Chimchar in Smells Like Team Spirit!, and returned as Electivire in Casting a Paul on Barry!, having evolved off screen. It was the last Pokémon Paul sent out against Ash in their Full Battle at the Lily of the Valley Conference, and after it lost Paul thanked it for its effort, something he had rarely done for any of his Pokémon before.
Electivire's first English card was a holo rare in Diamond & Pearl (2007), illustrated by Nakaoka, and Mysterious Treasures followed the same year with Electivire LV.X by Shizurow. Supreme Victors (2009) then printed it as Electivire FB, one of the Frontier Brain's Pokémon: a Basic holo by Hironobu Yoshida set inside Sinnoh's Battle Factory, whose Brain Thorton can use an Electivire in Pokémon Platinum, plus Electivire FB LV.X by Ryo Ueda.
From the HeartGold & SoulSilver era through Sword & Shield it appeared mostly as a regular Rare, including cards in Triumphant, Boundaries Crossed and Furious Fists and a Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery card by Mina Nakai. Destined Rivals (2025), a Scarlet & Violet set, introduced Electivire ex as a Double rare and an Ultra Rare full art, both illustrated by PLANETA Mochizuki.

エレキブル
Electric
Electivire is the Thunderbolt Pokémon, an Electric type from Generation 4 that evolves when Electabuzz is traded holding an Electirizer. Paul raised one from an Elekid in the Diamond and Pearl anime, and its cards run from two LV.X printings in the Diamond & Pearl era to Electivire ex in Destined Rivals.
