Drampa is a Generation VII normal/dragon type resembling a Chinese dragon, with a mustache like set of whiskers, floppy ears, and a mop of white hair split into four rounded sections. It lives alone in the mountains 10,000 feet above sea level, an altitude too high for the berries it feeds on to grow. Using the Drampanite Mega Stone, introduced in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Drampa can Mega Evolve into Mega Drampa, whose fur darkens to grey and grows spikier as it regains its youthful vigor and holds its long neck high.
Drampa can be seen as a counterpart to Turtonator, sharing an identical base stat total of 485 distributed differently between them, aside from an identical Speed stat, and it was designed by Hitoshi Ariga. Prior to the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Drampa was the only Generation VII Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution, and Mega Drampa carries the highest base Special Attack stat of any Normal type Pokémon. It appears to be based on a Chinese dragon such as the Zhulong, or torch dragon, with its friendly disposition toward children evoking a grandparent figure, and its Japanese name Jijilong references an informal term for an old man.
Drampa's first cards came in 2017's Guardians Rising: a Rare by match and a Drampa GX trio of two Ultra Rares and a Secret Rare by 5ban Graphics. Temporal Forces later added an illustration rare by Mékayu. The line reached the Mega Evolution era with a 2026 Ascended Heroes Uncommon illustrated by Scav.

An Ascended Heroes Uncommon illustrated by Scav, from the Mega Evolution era.

Ranked by each card’s main print in near-mint raw condition. 1st Edition, Shadowless and other versions are priced on each card’s page. The table updates live.
The leaders among the most valuable Drampa cards come from the modern eras, and the top spot belongs to the Illustration rare from Temporal Forces, printed in 2024. Every one of the 20 Drampa cards carries a market value, and they span 2017 to 2026. Drampa card value is concentrated: the ten leading cards hold 97 percent of the total, so the rest of the species adds very little to it.
The Temporal Forces Illustration rare from 2024 leads Drampa card value by 1.3 times over the next card, a Promo from SM Black Star Promos in 2017. Third is the Secret Rare Drampa GX from Guardians Rising, also 2017, and fourth is the Shiny rare Drampa-GX from the Hidden Fates Shiny Vault in 2019. Fifth is an Ultra Rare Drampa GX from Guardians Rising. An Illustration rare is a full-art card with artwork that extends across the card, and a Secret Rare is numbered beyond the printed set count.
Of the twenty-five leading Drampa cards, 9 come from Sun & Moon, 5 from Sword & Shield, 5 from Scarlet & Violet and 1 from Mega Evolution. That one is the Ascended Heroes Drampa from 2026, which sits 20th overall. Vintage here means the WOTC era and modern is every later era. The top ten Drampa cards are all modern, 10 of 10, and the top twenty-five hold 20 modern cards.
The ten leading Drampa cards carry these printed rarities: Ultra Rare on 2 cards, and Holo Rare, Holo Rare V, Illustration rare, Promo, Secret Rare and Shiny rare on 1 card each. Widening to the top twenty-five adds 4 Rare cards, 3 Uncommon cards and 1 Common alongside 3 Holo Rare cards and the same higher rarities.
Drampa ranks 483rd of 1020 among species with priced cards by the value of its single leading card, and 366th of 753 by the combined value of its ten leaders. That places the species in the middle of the field on both measures. The Drampa card market rests on one Temporal Forces card, with the 2017 Promo and the Guardians Rising GX cards forming the next tier.
