Dodrio

Dodrio in the anime

In Fighting Flyer with Fire, Falkner used a Dodrio in his Gym battle against Ash, and it initially had the upper hand against Pikachu before being defeated once Ash turned Falkner's own strategy against it. Gary's Dodrio, evolved from his Doduo, appeared in Putting the Air Back in Aerodactyl! to attack Team Rocket's helicopter, while Dario used a Dodrio to compete in the Big P Pokémon Race in The Flame Pokémon-athon!, where it was beaten by Ash riding Lara Laramie's Ponyta.

Dodrio on cards

Dodrio's first card came from 1999 Jungle, illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, with Blaine's Dodrio following in 2000's Gym Challenge illustrated by Ken Sugimori. TOKIYA illustrated both a BREAKthrough and a Generations Rare printing, and Fusion Strike later gave Dodrio a Holo Rare V card illustrated by 5ban Graphics. The 2024 Paldean Fates set added a Shiny rare Dodrio illustrated by nagimiso.
