Diggersby is a bipedal Pokémon resembling a large, portly gray rabbit whose most notable feature is a pair of ears shaped like muscular forearms, complete with three-fingered paws. These ears function as powerful digging tools, capable of lifting objects over a ton and reducing dense bedrock to rubble. It evolves from Bunnelby at level 20. A woolly fur band around its waist retains heat well, and its habit of lazing about after work, along with its muzzle and mud-like markings, suggests its design is also inspired by construction workers and heavy equipment like an excavator.
Diggersby's first card, a 2014 XY Uncommon by 5ban Graphics, was followed by Rares in Phantom Forces and Primal Clash. Crimson Invasion and Forbidden Light continued at Uncommon, while Rebel Clash and Darkness Ablaze returned to Rare.
Fusion Strike and Obsidian Flames kept the line at Uncommon into the Scarlet and Violet era, and the Mega Evolution era's Perfect Order added a 2026 Uncommon by Mousho.
