Arrokuda has three back fins on its tail resembling a ship propeller and can only swim in a straight line. Cramorant preys on it, grabbing Arrokuda in its mouth when using Surf or Dive and often spitting it out to fly into nearby opponents; in Paldea, Wattrel takes over as its predator. Its brown and tan body carries two red spots and six white scales, and it was shown unnamed as part of Cramorant's official reveal before Pokémon Sword and Shield's release gave it a name.
Arrokuda made its animated debut in Just a Scone's Throw From Here!, pulled from the Rocket Prize Master by Jessie. It attacked Goh's Pokémon alongside Cramorant but was defeated by Grookey.
