Armaldo is a two-legged, amphibious Pokémon armored in heavy grayish-blue plates. It evolves from Anorith at level 40, and shares with its pre-evolution the distinction of being the only Bug/Rock types with Rock as their primary type.
Armaldo made its animated series debut in Lights, Camerupt, Action!, appearing in a movie defending a castle where a Kirlia princess was held captive. In Where's Armaldo?, a newly evolved Armaldo was captured by Team Rocket and went on a rampage. Nando used an Armaldo in League Unleashed! during his battle against Ash, defeating Staraptor before a double knockout with Quilava.
Armaldo's first card was a holo rare in Sandstorm illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita, followed by a POP Series 1 Armaldo ex by Hikaru Koike and a Holon Phantoms delta species card by Masakazu Fukuda. Later rares appeared through Legends Awakened, Steam Siege, Cosmic Eclipse, and Silver Tempest.

Ranked by each card’s main print in near-mint raw condition. 1st Edition, Shadowless and other versions are priced on each card’s page. The table updates live.
The most valuable Armaldo card is Armaldo ex from Legend Maker, printed in 2006 as a Holo Rare. All 9 of the 9 Armaldo cards carry a market value, with sets running from 2003 to 2022. The leading card stands 3.3 times above the second, so the ranking of the most valuable Armaldo cards is settled at the very top before it flattens across the rest.
Armaldo ex from Legend Maker leads Armaldo card value by 3.3 times over the next card, Armaldo δ from Holon Phantoms in 2006, also a Holo Rare. Third is a different Armaldo ex, a Rare from POP Series 1 in 2004. The Sandstorm Armaldo from 2003 and the Power Keepers Armaldo from 2007 follow as Holo Rares. A holo is a card printed with a shiny foil pattern, while a Rare is the standard rarity without that foil effect.
Armaldo cards come mostly from the EX era, which supplies five of the nine, with one each from Diamond & Pearl, XY, Sun & Moon and Sword & Shield. The newest era's leader is the Silver Tempest Armaldo from 2022, which sits 9th overall. Vintage here means the WOTC era, and the vintage and modern split reads 0 vintage and 9 modern in both the top ten and the top twenty-five.
Two printed rarities appear among the Armaldo cards: five are Rare and four are Holo Rare. The counts are identical across the top ten and the top twenty-five, since the species has only nine cards in all. The Holo Rares include the top two cards plus the Sandstorm and Power Keepers prints, and the five Rares include Armaldo ex from POP Series 1 and the Silver Tempest card.
By the value of its single leading card, Armaldo ranks 189th of 1020 species with priced cards. Its only evolution line member, Anorith, ranks 919th of 1020 by the same measure. The Armaldo card market is therefore carried by its own cards, with Anorith far behind and Armaldo's leading card sitting well above most species.
