Wigglytuff

Guildmaster Wigglytuff in Mystery Dungeon

Wigglytuff's best known role is outside the main series: in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Sky, Guildmaster Wigglytuff runs the guild in Treasure Town where the player's exploration team trains.

Wigglytuff on cards: Jungle holo to Paldean Fates

Wigglytuff's first card came in Jungle (1999), which printed the same Mitsuhiro Arita artwork as a holo (#16) and a non-holo (#32); Base Set 2 (2000) reprinted it. Our catalog lists 30 Wigglytuff printings across 23 sets, led by the WOTC era (six) and the XY and Scarlet & Violet eras (five each).

Neo Destiny (2002), a set themed on how a Trainer's upbringing shapes a Pokémon, printed both Dark Wigglytuff and Light Wigglytuff; Light Pokémon debuted in that set as the gentle counterparts of Dark Pokémon. Hidden Legends (2004) added Wigglytuff ex, Hidden Fates (2019) printed Wigglytuff GX, and 151 (2023) brought a modern Wigglytuff ex. Paldean Fates (2024) followed with a shiny rare Wigglytuff and a Shiny Ultra Rare Wigglytuff ex, and Phantasmal Flames (2025), in the Mega Evolution era, gave it an illustration rare by REND.
