Skarmory

Skarmory on cards: Neo Genesis to Mega Skarmory ex

Skarmory's first card is Neo Genesis #13 from December 2000, a Rare illustrated by Ken Sugimori. Neo Revelation added a second Rare in 2001, illustrated by Aya Kusube, and Expedition Base Set printed it as both a Holo Rare and a Rare, both by Kimiya Masago. Power Keepers (2007) gave it Skarmory ex, illustrated by Ryo Ueda, and the XY set (2014) carried two Ultra Rare Skarmory EX cards, by Eske Yoshinob and Ryo Ueda.

Surging Sparks (2024) gave it an Illustration rare by Takumi Wada, Destined Rivals (2025) added Steven's Skarmory, a card for the Hoenn Champion Steven Stone's partner, and its Mega Evolution reached cards in Perfect Order (2026) as Mega Skarmory ex, including an Ultra Rare by 5ban Graphics.

Collecting Skarmory

Most Skarmory printings are Commons, Uncommons and regular Rares, so its collecting interest sits in a handful of cards: the Expedition holo, the Power Keepers ex, the XY Skarmory EX pair, the Surging Sparks Illustration rare and the Perfect Order Mega Skarmory ex.
