Omastar

Omastar in the anime

Two Omastar debuted in Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon, having laid dormant under Grampa Canyon until a dynamite blast woke them, and they chased Ash and Team Rocket until Aerodactyl scared them off. In Fossil Fools, multiple Omastar were found living in the Ruins of Alph alongside Omanyte before being moved to a museum, and in Dealing With Defensive Types!, an Omastar caught Team Rocket stealing food from the Canalave Gym kitchen during Ash's Gym battle with Byron.

Omastar's cards across eras

Omastar's first card was a 1999 Fossil Uncommon illustrated by Ken Sugimori. Neo Destiny gave it a Dark Omastar Rare, and Legendary Collection and Skyridge added further cards before the EX era added a Sandstorm printing, a Holon Phantoms delta species Omastar illustrated by Midori Harada, and a Power Keepers Rare. Majestic Dawn and Arceus continued through the Diamond & Pearl era, and Fates Collide brought both a standard Rare and an Ultra Rare BREAK evolution illustrated by 5ban Graphics. Team Up added a Rare, Silver Tempest gave it V and Ultra Rare treatments by Saki Hayashiro, and the 151 set printed a Rare illustrated by Akira Komayama.
