Nymble

Nymble's origin

Unlike most grasshoppers, Nymble cannot fly, which may reflect an inspiration from meadow grasshoppers or grasshoppers still in their nymph stage, a connection alluded to in its English name. It may also draw from pygmy mole crickets, and the way its third set of legs folds resembles Spanish navajas.

Nymble on cardboard

Nymble's earliest cards came in Paldea Evolved, with Common printings from Shin Nagasawa and Sekio, followed by a pair of Paradox Rift Commons from Pani Kobayashi and Kouki Saitou. Phantasmal Flames later brought its Mega Evolution era printing with a standard Common and an Illustration Rare from Nakamura Ippan.
