Milcery is a small cream-colored Pokémon resembling a splash of milk, with a droplet-shaped body, a crown of six cream protrusions that constantly drip, and completely white eyes.
It is born from sweet-smelling particles in the air, and its body swells as it absorbs sweet aromas. When attacked, it tackles the foe before covering it in cream, then flees while the opponent is blinded or astonished.
Milcery evolves into Alcremie while holding a Sweet when the player spins and strikes a pose in Sword and Shield or gets dizzy in Scarlet and Violet, and the resulting form depends on the direction and length of the spin, the time of day, and the type of Sweet held. A clockwise spin under five seconds during the day, for example, produces Vanilla Cream Alcremie.
Milcery's earliest card came in Rebel Clash, illustrated by Mina Nakai, followed by a Vivid Voltage Common from Kouki Saitou and a Shining Fates Shiny Vault Shiny Rare from Motofumi Fujiwara. Stellar Crown paired a standard Common with an Illustration Rare from Dsuke, and Phantasmal Flames later continued the line into the Mega Evolution era.
