Mareep on cards: Neo Genesis to the Galarian Gallery

Mareep's first English card is Neo Genesis #65 from December 2000, illustrated by Ken Sugimori, in the set that brought Gold and Silver's Pokémon to the English card game. Neo Discovery and Neo Destiny added Mareep commons by Atsuko Nishida and Kagemaru Himeno, and the EX era printed it in sets such as Dragon and Team Rocket Returns. Promotional products carried it too, including POP Series 7 and the HeartGold & SoulSilver Trainer Kit.

Of its 30 printings, 25 are commons. The standout is Crown Zenith's Galarian Gallery subset (2023), where Mareep got a new special illustration by Kouki Saitou at Rare rarity.
