Maractus is the Cactus Pokémon, a category it shares with Cacnea, and it is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 461. It does not evolve. Two of its Abilities play on how well cacti hold on to water: Water Absorb and the hidden Storm Drain both make it immune to Water-type moves, and Storm Drain also pulls in Water moves aimed at another target.
Three Maractus owned by Toby, nicknamed Marra, Racca and Tussy, debuted in A Maractus Musical! while performing in the Pokémon Performance Competition. When one routine kept going wrong, they took on Ash's Pikachu, Tepig and Snivy in a Triple Battle to sharpen their skills, and they finally overcame the problem after a wild Scolipede attacked.
Maractus debuted alongside the Black & White set in 2011, with separate Uncommon and Rare printings illustrated by Kagemaru Himeno and Kouki Saitou, plus a McDonald's Collection 2011 card also by Himeno. Dragons Exalted, Plasma Storm, Flashfire, Sword & Shield and Fusion Strike each added a single printing over the following decade.
In the Scarlet & Violet era, Paldean Fates, Journey Together and Black Bolt each contributed a standard printing, and Journey Together and Black Bolt added illustration rares by Ounishi and Heisuke Kitazawa respectively.

マラカッチ
Grass
Maractus is the Cactus Pokémon, a pure Grass type that does not evolve. When it moves its body in rhythm it makes maraca-like sounds that help it drive off predators, and in the anime Toby's three Maractus compete in a Pokémon Performance Competition. Our catalog lists 13 Maractus cards across 10 sets.
No published index yet — too few of Maractus’s cards trade often enough to strike one.
