Goldeen

Goldeen in the anime: Misty's fish out of water

Misty's Goldeen debuted in the second episode, Pokémon Emergency!, when she sent it out on dry land against Team Rocket at the Viridian Pokémon Center and it could only flop around until she recalled it. Because it is stuck without water, it rarely battled, and it did not use an attack until Bye Bye Psyduck, 89 episodes later.

A wild Goldeen also had a memorable moment in Here Comes the Squirtle Squad: after a Squirtle knocked Pikachu into a lake, the angry Goldeen struck him with Horn Attack and left him badly hurt.
