Glalie is the Face Pokémon, a spherical black rock core covered in ice with blue eyes and a mouth visible through holes and two large conical horns. Its ice never melts, and it can instantly freeze moisture in the air, using this to coat itself in ice armor and to freeze prey that it then swallows whole.
Glalie evolves from Snorunt at level 42 and is one of two final forms of Snorunt, the other being Froslass. It can Mega Evolve into Mega Glalie using Glalitite, introduced in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and is the only Mega Evolution from that game that is not dual-typed.
Glalie debuted in Rhapsody in Drew, when Ash's Snorunt evolved into a Glalie; it remained on his team until after the Ever Grande Conference. In Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, a Glalie capable of Mega Evolution fell under Levi's Mega Wave control before being freed.
Glalie's earliest card is the 2004 Hidden Legends Uncommon illustrated by Midori Harada, followed by the Emerald Rare by Atsuko Nishida. BREAKthrough later introduced four Ultra Rares covering both Glalie EX and M Glalie EX.

Ranked by each card’s main print in near-mint raw condition. 1st Edition, Shadowless and other versions are priced on each card’s page. The table updates live.
The value of Glalie cards is packed into a few prints: the ten leading cards hold 98 percent of the total, and the most valuable Glalie card is the M Glalie EX from BREAKthrough, 2015. All 14 Glalie cards carry a market value, and the priced cards run from 2004 to 2024. Glalie card value sits almost entirely in the top ten, with the rest of the species adding very little on top.
The M Glalie EX from BREAKthrough (2015) leads the most valuable Glalie cards by 1.5 times over the next card, the Glalie EX from the same set and year. Both are Ultra Rare prints, and BREAKthrough fills the first four places, with a second M Glalie EX and a second Glalie EX behind them. The first card outside that set is the Emerald (2005) Glalie, a Rare, followed by the Power Keepers (2007) Glalie, an Uncommon.
Glalie cards draw their value from the XY era, which supplies four of the twenty-five leading cards, ahead of three from EX and two each from Diamond & Pearl and Sun & Moon. Black & White, Sword & Shield and Scarlet & Violet each place one. The newest era's leader is the Twilight Masquerade (2024) Glalie, 13th overall. All ten of the top ten and 14 of the top twenty-five are modern cards, meaning they come from eras after the WOTC era that defines vintage.
Among the ten leading Glalie cards, four are Ultra Rare, three are Rare and three are Uncommon. Widening to the leading twenty-five changes the mix: six Uncommon, four Rare and four Ultra Rare. The leading Glalie cards are defined by their printed rarity and their set, with the Ultra Rare EX cards from BREAKthrough at the head of the list.
By the value of its single leading card, Glalie ranks 536th of 1020 species with priced cards, and 442nd of 753 by the combined value of its ten leaders. Within its line, Froslass ranks 342nd of 1020 by top card and Snorunt 753rd. Glalie sits in the middle of the field, with a market built on the BREAKthrough EX cards rather than on broad depth.
