Exeggutor evolves from Exeggcute using a Leaf Stone. It stands 2.0 meters tall and weighs 120 kilograms; its standard ability, Chlorophyll, speeds it up in harsh sunlight, and its hidden ability is Harvest. Pokédex entries describe its three heads as thinking independently, which makes it noisy, and say a head that drops off can become an Exeggcute.
Exeggutor and Exeggcute are the only Pokémon that can learn the move Barrage.
Pokémon Sun and Moon gave Exeggutor an Alolan form. Alolan Exeggutor keeps the Grass type but swaps Psychic for Dragon, and its neck stretches to a height of 10.9 meters, more than five times the standard form, which makes it the tallest and heaviest Grass type Pokémon. Dragon Hammer was its signature move in Generation VII. It lives on Exeggutor Island, a former trial site in Alola that is itself shaped like an Exeggutor.
In the original series episode "The March of the Exeggutor Squad," a magician named Melvin uses his Exeggcute's Hypnosis on Ash and has him weaken a forest full of wild Exeggutor so Melvin can catch the whole herd. When Melvin's Exeggcute evolves and uses Hypnosis, the captured Exeggutor copy it, hypnotize one another and stampede toward town. Ash's Charmander helps stop the herd with Flamethrower alongside Melvin's fire trick, then evolves into Charmeleon.
Exeggutor's first card is Jungle #35 from June 1999, an Uncommon illustrated by Kagemaru Himeno. Evolutions (2016) reprinted a famous oddity as its secret rare #109: Dr. Ooyama's Exeggutor, a promo first handed to players at the 1999 Tropical Mega Battle in Hawaii, known as the Bilingual Exeggutor because its text is printed in Japanese with English translations.
Alolan Exeggutor split the card history in two. Its first card was Alolan Exeggutor GX in Crimson Invasion (2017), which also had a Secret Rare version, and Unified Minds (2019) paired it with Rowlet on a Tag Team GX printed as both an Ultra Rare and a Secret Rare. Surging Sparks (2024) gave Alolan Exeggutor ex a special illustration rare by Yuriko Akase and a hyper rare. The standard form returned in the 2025 Mega Evolution set with an Uncommon and an Illustration rare by Yukihiro Tada.
Exeggutor's run mixes long stretches of Uncommons and Rares with a few pieces collectors single out: the Bilingual Exeggutor reprint in Evolutions, the Crimson Invasion and Unified Minds Secret Rares, and the Surging Sparks special illustration rare and hyper rare. The Alolan form accounts for most of those modern chase cards.

Ranked by each card’s main print in near-mint raw condition. 1st Edition, Shadowless and other versions are priced on each card’s page. The table updates live.
The value across Exeggutor cards is concentrated: the ten leading cards hold 83 percent of the total market value. The most valuable Exeggutor card is the Holo Rare Exeggutor from Aquapolis, 2003. All 47 Exeggutor cards carry a market value, and they span the years 1999 to 2025, so Exeggutor card value rests on a short list of prints rather than being spread evenly through the species.
The Aquapolis Holo Rare from 2003 leads the most valuable Exeggutor cards, and it is about equal to the next card, the Rowlet & Alolan Exeggutor GX from Unified Minds, 2019, an Ultra Rare. A Secret Rare version of that same Unified Minds card sits 3rd. The Exeggutor Common from Southern Islands, 2001 is 4th, and a Rare from Aquapolis, 2003 is 5th. A holo is a card with a foil-patterned picture area, and a GX is a card type from the Sun & Moon era.
Sun & Moon supplies 8 of the 25 leading Exeggutor cards and WOTC supplies 7, followed by Scarlet & Violet with 3 and EX with 2. Vintage here means the WOTC era, and modern is every later era. The top ten holds 4 vintage and 6 modern cards, and the top twenty-five holds 7 vintage and 18 modern. The newest era's leader is the Mega Evolution Exeggutor from 2025, placed 20th overall.
Among the ten leading Exeggutor cards, 3 are Ultra Rare and 2 are Rare. One card each is a Common, a Holo Rare, a Secret Rare, a Special illustration rare and an Uncommon. Widening to the leading twenty-five, the count is 7 Ultra Rare, 6 Rare, 3 Secret Rare and 3 Uncommon, plus one each of Common, Holo Rare, Hyper rare, Illustration rare and Special illustration rare.
By the value of its single leading card, Exeggutor ranks 174th of 1020 species with priced cards. By the combined value of its ten leaders it ranks 128th of 753. Its evolution line adds only Exeggcute, whose leading card ranks 158th of 1020. Exeggutor cards therefore sit in the middle of the species field, with the value gathered in a few prints rather than carried by a single standout card.
