Dragalge evolves from Skrelp starting at level 48. It spits poison at anything entering its territory, and that poison is said to eat through metal tanker hulls, so ships crossing its seas are said never to come back. Mega Dragalge, reached through a Mega Stone introduced in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, is larger and draped in kelp, with cape-like fronds over most of its body and antler-shaped antennae that each hold a purple and pink orb.
Two wild Dragalge debuted in An Undersea Place to Call Home!, among the Pokémon living in the wreckage of the S.S. Cussler, and they welded its pieces together to make a home.

Dragalge's most valuable cards come from the newest era: the Mega Evolution special illustration rare of Mega Dragalge ex from Chaos Rising, 2026, leads the ranking, and the most valuable Dragalge card is that one. All 9 of the Dragalge cards carry a market value, and the priced cards span 2013 to 2026, so Dragalge card value runs from the XY era to the present.
The Chaos Rising special illustration rare of Mega Dragalge ex (2026) leads Dragalge card value, ahead of the XY Black Star Promos Dragalge (2013) by 1.2 times, so the top two sit close together. Third is the Ultra Rare Mega Dragalge ex from Chaos Rising, followed by the Rare Dragalge from Flashfire (2014). A special illustration rare is a full-art chase rarity in modern sets, and a promo is a card issued outside the regular booster set rarity scheme.
Dragalge cards cluster in recent eras. Of the leading cards, 3 come from XY, 3 from Mega Evolution, 2 from Sun & Moon and 1 from Sword & Shield. The newest era's leader is Mega Dragalge ex from Chaos Rising (2026), which sits 1st overall. Vintage means the WOTC era and modern is every later era, and all 9 of the top ten and top twenty-five Dragalge cards are modern.
Among the ten leading Dragalge cards, Rare is the most common printed rarity with 4 cards. The rest are single cards: one Double rare, one Holo Rare, one Promo, one Special illustration rare and one Ultra Rare. The top twenty-five shows the same counts. The most valuable Dragalge cards are mostly standard Rare prints alongside one card in each of the other five rarities.
By the value of its single leading card, Dragalge ranks 495th of 1020 species with priced cards, which puts it near the middle of the field. Its evolution line adds only Skrelp, whose top card ranks 1014th of 1020. That makes the Dragalge card market a one-species story, with Dragalge itself carrying nearly all the value in its line.
