Cinccino

Cinccino's trivia and design

Cinccino and Minccino were designed by Atsuko Nishida, who was hired for her skill with cute characters; the line was meant to parallel Kanto's Clefairy and Clefable. Cinccino is also the only fully evolved Pokémon to appear first when a player starts a new game, and due to a game error it was unable to learn Thief via TM in Pokémon Black and White even though Minccino could, an issue later fixed in Black 2 and White 2. Moira's Cinccino, nicknamed Cinccinoette, battled Ash's Snivy and lost in the anime episode Beauties Battling for Pride and Prestige!.

Cinccino across the eras

Cinccino appeared in 2011's Black & White as a Rare illustrated by Kagemaru Himeno, who also illustrated a later Legendary Treasures Uncommon. The Mega Evolution era brought three Cinccino ex cards in Chaos Rising, a Double rare and Ultra Rare from 5ban Graphics and a Special illustration rare by Keisin.
