Dusk Ball lets a player look through the bottom seven cards of their deck for a Pokémon. The original Mysterious Treasures wording had the player show the Pokémon to the opponent and place the remaining cards back on top of the deck before shuffling, while the Surging Sparks wording simplified this to revealing a Pokémon found there and shuffling the rest back into the deck.
The card debuted in the Diamond and Pearl era's Mysterious Treasures, then appeared in the Diamond and Pearl Trainer Kit's Manaphy deck and in Majestic Dawn, all illustrated by Ryo Ueda. It returned in the Scarlet and Violet era's Surging Sparks as an Item card with new art by Studio Bora Inc. Our catalog lists 4 printings.
Dusk Ball is based on the Poké Ball type introduced in Generation IV that becomes more effective when used at night or in a cave.
