Professor Birch

Professor Birch's field research and books

Birch is more outgoing than most regional professors because his research on how Pokémon behave in the wild keeps him outdoors, often with his child helping to observe and catch wild Pokémon. His wife worries that the work keeps him away from home. His books include The History of the Hoenn Region, The Coexistence of People and Pokémon and The Fieldwork 101.
