Tyrantrum

Tyrantrum's design origins

Tyrantrum is based on Tyrannosaurus, its crest, beard, and cape styled after royal imagery of a crown, a king's beard, and a fur-lined cape.

Tyrantrum in the anime and on cards

Four Tyrantrum owned by a group of Scientists debuted in The Tiny Caretaker!, one of them evolved from a Tyrunt. Bonnie befriended one and hoped Clemont would catch it, but had to say goodbye because the Scientists owned it. Diantha's Tyrantrum later appeared briefly during a montage of her Masters Eight Tournament battle against Leon. On cards, Furious Fists carries a rare by 5ban Graphics, and Forbidden Light one by hatachu; the Mega Evolution era brought an MEP Black Star Promos Tyrantrum by Nisota Niso and a Perfect Order rare by Dsuke.
