Tandemaus evolution quirks

Because Tandemaus must specifically level up in battle to evolve, it is the only Pokémon that can be locked out of evolution upon reaching level 100, since Rare Candy was updated in Generation VIII to allow evolution at the highest level. Unlike every other Pokémon that evolves by leveling up, there is no evolution animation and no way to cancel it if Tandemaus reaches level 25 in a battle it was not sent out in.

Tandemaus on cards

Tandemaus's first cards were two Commons in Scarlet & Violet illustrated by Pani Kobayashi and yuu, followed by further Commons across Paldea Evolved and Paradox Rift. A McDonald's Collection 2023 promo also exists. Paldean Fates added a shiny rare by Lee HyunJung, and Surging Sparks brought a further Common by USGMEN.
