Probopass

Probopass in the anime

Probopass appeared in Nosing 'Round The Mountain! when Alan's Nosepass evolved near Mount Coronet's magnetic field; Team Rocket briefly seized control of it before Alan freed it with Ash's help, and it later helped defeat Fantina's Gengar to earn Alan his Relic Badge. Olivia used a Probopass in her grand trial against Ash in Trials and Determinations!, where it fell to Rowlet's Bloom Doom, and Wikstrom fielded one in Searching for Chivalry!.

Probopass on the card

Probopass draws on the pukao-wearing moai statues of Easter Island and on a compass magnet coated in iron filings: its big nose points north while the Mini-Noses mark east, south and west. Its first set card is the 2008 Legends Awakened Rare Holo by Kent Kanetsuna, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated the 2009 Platinum Uncommon. The Mega Evolution era's Perfect Order added both a common and an illustration rare, the latter illustrated by Kinu Nishimura.
