Pawmo is a stout rodent whose forepaws hold teal-blue electrified pads used to strike and zap foes simultaneously, and it travels in groups, fighting back first when attacked. Pawmo and its pre-evolution share the Mouse Pokémon category with Rattata, Raticate, Pikachu, Raichu, Sandshrew, and Sandslash, and are the first electric rodents since Pichu able to evolve. Pawmo is also the shortest Fighting-type Pokémon, and Pawmi and Pawmo are the only Mouse Pokémon not introduced in Generation I. It seems based on a marmot such as the alpine marmot, reintroduced to the Pyrenees in 1948; its shocking paws may draw on defibrillators, and its Fighting type and Arm Thrust on the injuries CPR can cause.
Pawmo debuted under Nemona's ownership in Nemona and Brassius and..., and was revealed to have evolved into Pawmot in Welcome to Naranja Academy!.
Pawmo debuted as a Common in Scarlet and Violet illustrated by Saya Tsuruta, followed by an Uncommon in Paldea Evolved illustrated by Hitoshi Ariga. Paldean Fates added a Shiny rare, and Phantasmal Flames introduced a further Common printing in the Mega Evolution era.
Pawmo's first card, a Common from Scarlet and Violet illustrated by Saya Tsuruta.
An Uncommon Pawmo from Paldea Evolved, illustrated by Hitoshi Ariga.
A Shiny rare Pawmo from Paldean Fates.
It evolves from Pawmi at level 18 and into Pawmot after walking 1,000 steps using the Let's Go! feature.
A marmot such as the alpine marmot, with its electric paws possibly inspired by defibrillators; its name may blend Pawmi, marmot and dynamo.

The most valuable Pawmo card is the Shiny rare from Paldean Fates, released in 2024. All 4 Pawmo cards carry a market value, and they span the years 2023 to 2025, from the original Scarlet & Violet release through to Phantasmal Flames. Pawmo card value is led by that single Shiny rare, with the remaining three cards printed as Common or Uncommon.
The Paldean Fates Shiny rare from 2024 leads the most valuable Pawmo cards by 40.6 times over the next card, which is the Common from Scarlet & Violet in 2023. Third is the Uncommon from Paldea Evolved, also 2023, and fourth is the Common from Phantasmal Flames in 2025. Of the four Pawmo cards, only the Paldean Fates print is a Shiny rare, and every other card sits at Common or Uncommon.
Judged by its single leading card, Pawmo ranks 840th of 1020 species with priced cards. Within its evolution line, Pawmot ranks 323rd of 1020 by top card, and Pawmi ranks 839th of 1020. Pawmo cards therefore sit close to Pawmi and well below Pawmot, and the Pawmo market rests almost entirely on the one Paldean Fates Shiny rare.
