Ogerpon

Ogerpon in the games: the Mask Pokémon of Kitakami

Ogerpon is a Grass type Legendary introduced in The Teal Mask, the first part of Scarlet and Violet's DLC, where it is a central character and the DLC's mascot. It stands 1.2 meters tall, weighs 39.8 kilograms and does not evolve. Its story ties it to the Loyal Three and their leader, Pecharunt.

Without a held item it is in its Teal Mask form, a pure Grass type with the ability Defiant. Holding one of its other masks changes its form: the Wellspring Mask makes it Grass and Water with Water Absorb, the Hearthflame Mask Grass and Fire with Mold Breaker, and the Cornerstone Mask Grass and Rock with Sturdy. Its Tera Type is locked to its mask, it becomes the mask's pure type when it Terastallizes, and its ability then turns into Embody Aspect, which raises Speed, Special Defense, Attack or Defense depending on the mask.

Ogerpon on cards: four masks, two sets of special illustration rares

Twilight Masquerade (2024) printed an Ogerpon ex for each mask and gave all four a special illustration rare by Yano Keiji, plus a Teal Mask Ogerpon ex hyper rare by 5ban Graphics.

Prismatic Evolutions (2025) did it again with four new special illustration rares by Yukihiro Tada and another Teal Mask hyper rare. Outside the ex cards there is a Teal Mask Ogerpon SVP promo by kodama and an Uncommon Teal Mask Ogerpon in Destined Rivals (2025).
