Mienfoo is a Generation 5 Fighting type designed after an ermine and a practitioner of kung fu, since Ken Sugimori said the planners wanted an animal based Fighting type rather than another humanoid one. It may also draw on the kamaitachi, a weasel yokai with sharp claws. Mienfoo specializes in fast, continuous chopping attacks and can land around 100 arm chops in a single minute once well trained, though it has a temperamental nature for its size. It evolves into Mienshao once it reaches level 50.
Mienfoo first appeared in The Beartic Mountain Feud, working alongside Cliff as a mountain guard. Korrina later used a Mienfoo in her Gym battle against Ash in Showdown at the Shalour Gym, where it fought his Hawlucha and lost, before A Festival Reunion revealed it had evolved into Mienshao.
Mienfoo debuted as a Common in Noble Victories, illustrated by match, and continued as a Common or Uncommon through Next Destinies, Boundaries Crossed, and Furious Fists. The Scarlet and Violet era carried the line through Paradox Rift, Stellar Crown, and White Flare, which paired a Common by Keisin with an illustration rare by Iori Suzuki.

Mienfoo evolves into Mienshao at level 50.
Yes. It debuted under Cliff's ownership, and Korrina's Mienfoo later fought Ash's Hawlucha and eventually evolved into Mienshao.
