Gurdurr is a gray, muscular Fighting type that carries an I-beam girder to train its strength, boasting about its muscles alongside Machoke and other rivals. Unlike Timburr, it excels at demolition rather than construction, and it evolves from Timburr at level 25 before evolving into Conkeldurr via trade. Gurdurr shares a base stat total of 405 with Machoke, both Fighting types whose final evolution is triggered by trading.
Gurdurr debuted in Cilan Versus Trip, Ash Versus Georgia!, revealed to have evolved from Trip's Timburr, where it lost a battle against Cilan's Dwebble before later evolving into Conkeldurr. In Trials of a Budding Master!, Dozer's Gurdurr was defeated by Ash's Farfetch'd during a World Coronation Series battle, and a Trainer's Gurdurr was recruited by Officer Jenny in Iris and the Rogue Dragonite!.
Gurdurr's first card, a 2011 Black and White Uncommon by Naoki Saito, appeared alongside a BW Trainer Kit print the same year and was followed by Uncommons in Noble Victories, Dark Explorers, and Plasma Storm. XY added a Kouki Saitou Uncommon, and after a gap, Battle Styles and the Scarlet and Violet era's Twilight Masquerade and Black Bolt carried the line forward, the latter with an Illustration rare by Souichirou Gunjima.

Gurdurr cards from the Black & White era fill much of the list, yet the most valuable Gurdurr card is the Illustration rare from Black Bolt, 2025. All 10 of the 10 Gurdurr cards carry a market value, spanning 2011 to 2025. That one print leads by a wide margin, and most of the other leading Gurdurr cards are Black & White era Uncommons.
The Black Bolt Illustration rare from 2025 sits at the top of Gurdurr card value, 15.3 times ahead of the next card. That runner-up is the Dark Explorers Uncommon from 2012, followed by the Noble Victories Uncommon from 2011 and the Black & White Uncommon from 2011. An Illustration rare is a full-art style rarity, while an Uncommon is a standard printed rarity. The gap shows how far one modern print stands above the most valuable Gurdurr cards behind it.
Of the twenty-five leading Gurdurr cards, 5 come from the Black & White era, 3 from Scarlet & Violet, 1 from XY and 1 from Sword & Shield. The newest era's leader is the Black Bolt Illustration rare from 2025, which holds 1st place overall. Every Gurdurr card in the top ten is modern, and the same holds across the top twenty-five: 10 modern and 0 vintage, where vintage means the WOTC era and modern is every later era.
Among the ten most valuable Gurdurr cards, 6 are Uncommons, 2 are Commons and 1 is an Illustration rare. The BW trainer Kit (Excadrill) card is also among the leaders. The top twenty-five shows the same counts. The Gurdurr cards that lead are standard printed rarities, topped by the single Illustration rare from Black Bolt.
Among the 1020 species with priced cards, Gurdurr ranks 746th by the value of its single leading card, and 680th of 753 by the combined value of its ten leaders. Within its evolution line, Conkeldurr ranks 465th and Timburr 684th by top card. Gurdurr card value rests heavily on one Black Bolt print, with the rest of the leaders sitting well behind it.
