Glastrier is an equine Pokémon with a white coat, an ice-spiked mane made of three rows behind its neck and a single large spike between its ears, and an ice mask covering the left side of its face that is noted to be 100 times harder than diamond. Its eyes are white with no visible pupils, its thin tail is covered in ice with four jutting spikes, and ice covers its hooves and fetlocks, extending to the knees on its forelegs. It possesses incredible physical strength and destructive power, is noted to be aggressive and takes what it wants by force, and generates extremely cold air that it emits from its nose and hooves. Glastrier does not evolve, and along with Spectrier it was one of only two Pokémon introduced in the Crown Tundra that were not directly revealed to the public.
Glastrier's Attack and Special Attack stats are the reverse of Spectrier's.
Glastrier, together with Spectrier, may be based on the Horsehead Nebula near the constellation Orion, with Glastrier itself possibly also drawing on the Monoceros, or unicorn, constellation that borders Orion, corresponding to Calyrex possibly representing Orion or Lepus, the hare constellation below it, with Zacian and Zamazenta possibly representing Canis Major. Its name may combine glacier and destrier, a type of medieval war horse.
