Galvantula

Galvantula in the anime

Multiple Galvantula debuted in Scraggy, Hatched to be Wild!, attacking Ash's newly hatched Scraggy. In Crisis at Chargestone Cave!, Galvantula and Joltik living in the cave began stealing electricity from Pokémon and objects after Team Rocket stole the rocks they normally fed on.

In Team Plasma's Pokémon Power Plot!, Colress used a Galvantula, apparently one of his favorites and his "star test subject", for an EM wave machine, forcing it to battle Pikachu and Axew before it was freed when Team Rocket disabled the machine. In Cilan and the Case of the Purrloin Witness!, Teaque's Galvantula battled Pikachu in a tournament final before being defeated. Teaque's Galvantula also knocked out a ship's electricity as part of his strategy during that same tournament finale.
