In Incarnate Forme, Enamorus is a slim, pink, genie-like Pokémon with four magenta forehead horns, white tied-back hair shaped like a heart, and magenta diamond and magatama-shaped spots covering its body. In Therian Forme it instead resembles a flying cloud turtle and snake hybrid, with magenta flippers, a long coiled snake-like tail, and a green gem on its belly. It does not evolve, but is the only member of the Forces of Nature to be female, and despite being Flying-type it cannot learn any Flying-type move by leveling up, a trait shared with Thundurus and Landorus.
Enamorus is the only Legendary Pokémon whose species stands last in a generation's National Pokédex, since every prior generation's listing ends with a Mythical Pokémon instead. Incarnate Forme Enamorus is also the only Legendary Pokémon introduced during Generation VIII to have a Hidden Ability, and it is the only Pokémon that can only be caught in Hisuian Poke Balls in the main series.
In Incarnate Forme, Enamorus may be based on Ugajin, a harvest and fertility kami depicted with the body of a snake and the head of a man or woman, syncretized with the Buddhist deity Benzaiten. Its name may combine enamor, amorous, and Aeolus, the ruler of the winds in Greek mythology.
Enamorus debuted across Lost Origin as a Holo Rare V illustrated by 5ban Graphics, an Ultra Rare also by 5ban Graphics, and a Trainer Gallery Ultra Rare illustrated by AKIRA EGAWA. Crown Zenith followed with a Rare illustrated by Jiro Sasumo, and the Scarlet & Violet era's Twilight Masquerade added a Rare by DOM and an Illustration rare by GOTO minori.

The most valuable Enamorus card is Enamorus V from the Lost Origin Trainer Gallery, printed in 2022. All 6 of the Enamorus cards carry a market value, and they span the years 2022 to 2024, so every one of them comes from the Sword & Shield and Scarlet & Violet eras. Enamorus card value starts with that Ultra Rare, which sits at the head of the ranking for the species.
The Lost Origin Trainer Gallery Enamorus V from 2022 leads Enamorus card value by 1.8 times over the next card, the Twilight Masquerade Illustration rare from 2024. Third comes the Lost Origin Enamorus V, an Ultra Rare from 2022, followed by another Lost Origin Enamorus V, this one a Holo Rare V. An Illustration rare is a card where the artwork is the focus and extends across the card face. Holo Rare V means a V card with a holographic finish.
Of the six leading Enamorus cards, four come from Sword & Shield and two from Scarlet & Violet. The newest era's leader is the Twilight Masquerade Enamorus from 2024, 2nd overall in the ranking. Vintage means the WOTC era and modern is every later era, and the split is plain: all six of the cards in both the top ten and the top twenty-five are modern, with none from vintage. The most valuable Enamorus cards all date from 2022 to 2024.
Among the leading Enamorus cards, the printed rarities are two Ultra Rares, one Holo Rare, one Holo Rare V, one Illustration rare and one Rare. The top twenty-five shows the same mix, since the species has only six cards. The Ultra Rares are the Enamorus V cards from the Lost Origin Trainer Gallery and from Lost Origin, both 2022. The Holo Rare comes from Twilight Masquerade in 2024, and the Rare from Crown Zenith in 2023.
By the value of its single leading card, Enamorus ranks 660th of 1020 species with priced cards. That places the species in the middle of the field on its top card. With six cards in total, Enamorus card value rests on a short list of prints from Lost Origin, Twilight Masquerade and Crown Zenith, headed by the Lost Origin Trainer Gallery Enamorus V.
