Ranked by each card’s main print in near-mint raw condition. 1st Edition, Shadowless and other versions are priced on each card’s page. The table updates live.
Deerling card value is led by a single card: the most valuable Deerling card is the Illustration rare from Temporal Forces in 2024, which sits 2.3 times ahead of the next card. All 9 Deerling cards carry a market value, and they span 2011 to 2025. That gap at the top means one print sets the value picture for the species, with the rest of the Deerling cards clustered behind it.
The Temporal Forces Illustration rare from 2024 leads Deerling card value, 2.3 times ahead of the Illustration rare from White Flare in 2025 at second. An illustration rare is a full-art card whose artwork extends across the card face. Third and fourth are Commons, the 2011 Black & White card and the Emerging Powers card from the same year, with the Fates Collide Common from 2016 at fifth. These are standard Commons from the Black & White and XY eras.
The Deerling cards in the top 25 spread across five eras: 4 from Scarlet & Violet, 2 from Black & White, and 1 each from XY, Sun & Moon and Sword & Shield. The newest era's leader, the Temporal Forces card from 2024, ranks 1st overall. Every one of the leading cards is modern: 9 of 9 in both the top ten and the top 25, with none from the WOTC era, which is where vintage ends and modern begins.
Among the ten leading Deerling cards, 7 are Commons and 2 are Illustration rares, and the top 25 shows the same split of 7 Commons and 2 Illustration rares. The two Illustration rares come from Temporal Forces and White Flare and hold the first two places. The Commons fill the remaining places, drawn from Black & White, Emerging Powers, Fates Collide, Cosmic Eclipse, Chilling Reign, Temporal Forces and White Flare.
By the value of its single leading card, Deerling ranks 363rd of 1020 species with priced cards. Its only evolution line member, Sawsbuck, ranks 328th of 1020 by the same measure, a little ahead of Deerling. For both, the card market rests on one top card and a field of Commons around it, with the Illustration rare prints setting the high end of Deerling cards.
