Ambipom jumps quickly from tree to tree and opens nuts with the hands on its two tails, so it hardly ever needs its arms. Its purple body has round ears with red insides, split hair atop its head that grows longer on females, and a rounded frill where each tail meets a red-tipped, three-fingered hand.
It works in large colonies in heavily wooded areas and forms rings by linking tails with other Ambipom as a sign of friendship, sometimes even offering such rings to humans, and it can also use its tails to communicate with other Ambipom.
Ambipom debuted in Mysterious Treasures as a Rare Holo illustrated by Kouki Saitou, and Rising Rivals later added an Ambipom G Common illustrated by Makoto Imai. It has remained mostly an Uncommon or Rare card since, with Phantasmal Flames adding a Rare by hncl and an Illustration Rare by Shigenori Negishi.
