Level Ball lets a player search their deck for a low-HP Pokémon, one with 90 HP or less, reveal it, and add it to hand before shuffling. The Battle Styles wording rephrases the shuffle step with a Then, but the underlying search and HP limit are unchanged.
The card debuted in the Black and White era's Next Destinies with art by 5ban Graphics, then appeared in the XY era's Ancient Origins with art by Toyste Beach. It returned in the Sword and Shield era's Battle Styles with new art by Ryo Ueda, printed in both a standard Uncommon and a Secret Rare version. Our catalog lists 4 printings across 3 sets.
Level Ball is based on a Generation II Poké Ball that works better the lower the target's level is compared with the player's lead Pokémon.
The Next Destinies printing is Level Ball's first release
The Ancient Origins printing brought new Toyste Beach artwork
The Battle Styles Secret Rare printing is a rarer treatment of the card's Sword and Shield era return
