Counter Catcher

What the card does

Counter Catcher only works while the player is behind on Prizes, letting them pull a Benched Pokémon into the opponent's Active Spot. The original Crimson Invasion wording described this as switching the Benched Pokémon with the opponent's Active Pokémon, while the Paradox Rift wording simplified the phrasing to switching in the Benched Pokémon to the Active Spot.

Printing history

Counter Catcher debuted in the Sun and Moon era's Crimson Invasion with both a Secret Rare and a standard Uncommon printing, then returned in the Scarlet and Violet era's Paradox Rift with an Uncommon and a Hyper Rare printing. Toyste Beach illustrated every printing. Our catalog lists 4 printings across 2 sets.
