Allister leads the Stow-on-Side Gym in Pokémon Shield, where he specializes in Ghost types and awards the Ghost Badge. Pokémon Sword sends players to the same Gym but against Bea, its Fighting-type Leader, so a single copy of the game never lets a challenger battle both there. Allister is painfully shy and keeps his face hidden behind a mask.
His ace is a Gengar capable of Gigantamax, the last Pokémon he sends out in his Gym battle.
Allister's card history is a single Supporter bearing his name. Vivid Voltage (2020) printed it three ways: an Uncommon illustrated by take, and a full-art Ultra Rare and Secret Rare pair illustrated by Sanosuke Sakuma. Astral Radiance's Trainer Gallery subset (2022) added a fourth version, illustrated by Jiro Sasumo.
take drew the original Uncommon, Sanosuke Sakuma illustrated both of Vivid Voltage's rarer versions, and Jiro Sasumo handled the Trainer Gallery card about eighteen months later. For collectors that makes a complete Allister run a short, four-card chase spread across two sets.
The original Uncommon printing, illustrated by take.
A full-art Ultra Rare from the same set, illustrated by Sanosuke Sakuma.
The Secret Rare version, also illustrated by Sanosuke Sakuma.
A Trainer Gallery version about eighteen months later, illustrated by Jiro Sasumo.
He is the Ghost-type Gym Leader of the Stow-on-Side Gym in Pokémon Shield, awarding the Ghost Badge. Bea leads the same Gym with Fighting types in Pokémon Sword.
A Gengar capable of Gigantamax, the final Pokémon in his Gym battle lineup.
Our catalog lists 4 Allister printings across 2 sets: three rarities in Vivid Voltage (2020) and a Trainer Gallery version in Astral Radiance (2022).

GYM LEADER
4 Trainer cards · 0 partner Pokémon
Allister is the masked, very shy Ghost-type Gym Leader of Stow-on-Side in Pokémon Shield; Sword players face Bea and her Fighting types at the same Gym instead. Our catalog lists 4 Allister cards across 2 sets, from Vivid Voltage in 2020 to Astral Radiance's Trainer Gallery in 2022.
No published index yet — too few of Allister’s cards trade often enough to strike one.
