Gossifleur is a small plantlike Pokémon topped with a large yellow flower covering most of its cream-colored head, with red hair-like growths and a green stem-like body; it can ride the wind over long distances.
Its healing pollen was once brewed into a folk remedy given to sick children in Galar. Its design draws on the flower of the cotton plant and on a story, heard by Sword and Shield director Shigeru Ohmori, that catching floating cotton balls brings good luck. It shares the Flowering Pokémon category with Lilligant, and it is tied with Ferroseed for the lowest base Speed stat of all Grass-type Pokémon.
A group of six Gossifleur appeared, and one of them was caught by Goh.
