Dusclops

Dusclops in the anime

Dusclops appeared in the movie Jirachi: Wish Maker under Butler, who used it for a magic act during the Millennium Festival and to blast off Team Rocket, later forcing Jirachi's Eye of Truth open with it. In the series, Timmy Grimm's Dusclops easily defeated Drew's Roselia in Disaster of Disguise, then lost to May's Skitty at the Verdanturf Contest, and Timmy's father Tommy was shown to have owned one as well. Brandon also fielded a Dusclops at the Battle Pyramid, where it downed Ash's Charizard before Bulbasaur brought it down.

Dusclops on the card

Dusclops' hollow, bandage-wrapped body and single red eye point to origins in the Chochin-obake haunted paper lantern and in mummy folklore. Its earliest card is the 2003 Sandstorm Holo Rare illustrated by Midori Harada, followed by Mitsuhiro Arita's Emerald Dusclops ex. In the Scarlet & Violet era, Shrouded Fable added an illustration rare by James Turner, and Aya Kusube illustrated the commons in both Shrouded Fable and Prismatic Evolutions.
