Darumaka

Darumaka in the anime

Darumaka appeared in Saving Darmanitan From the Bell!, where two of them stole food for a Darmanitan stuck in Zen Mode while trying to keep a clock tower from collapsing. A trainer's Darumaka lost to Ash's Scraggy at the Vertress Conference in Lost at the League!, and three more appeared stranded on a raft in The Pirates of Decolore! before being rescued by pirate Pokémon, while a Darumaka owned by Rob later battled Dot's Quaxwell in a Tera Training tournament.

Darumaka on the card

Darumaka is based on a Daruma doll, with its Fire typing referencing the traditional Daruma burning ceremony, while Galarian Darumaka mixes in a snowman and a yeti. Its earliest cards are the two 2011 Black & White prints illustrated by Kouki Saitou and Masakazu Fukuda. Galarian Darumaka reached the cards in Rebel Clash, and Black Bolt later added a common by svlt and an illustration rare by Tomowaka, and Phantasmal Flames brought a Mega Evolution era common by NC Empire.
