Corvisquire

Corvisquire's design and typing

Corvisquire and Rookidee were the first non-Legendary Pokémon typed as pure Flying. The line was designed by Hitoshi Ariga. Its category points to a raven, though it may also draw on the jackdaw or hooded crow found in Britain, with blue coloring that recalls jays such as the blue jay. Its name blends corvid, squire and esquire.
