As a child Sada became fixated on the Scarlet Book, the expedition journal of the explorer Heath. She later helped explore the crater, set up the Zero Lab in Area Zero, and built a time machine that sends Poké Balls to other eras and brings Paradox Pokémon back, Koraidon among them. Her obsession with the work left her son Arven to grow up alone in her lighthouse lab.
Sada died after stepping between two Koraidon in a territorial fight, protecting the gentler one. The Professor Sada who contacts the player is an AI copy she had built to help her research, and it wants the project ended.
Her Supporter card, Professor Sada's Vitality, first appeared in Paradox Rift (2023) as an Uncommon and an Ultra Rare illustrated by Megumi Mizutani, plus a Special illustration rare illustrated by Ryota Murayama. Prismatic Evolutions (2025) reprinted the Uncommon.
Megumi Mizutani illustrated three of the four printings, leaving Ryota Murayama's Special illustration rare as the one version by a different artist. Professor Turo's Scenario, the card for Sada's Pokémon Violet counterpart, followed the same path: Paradox Rift in 2023, then a Prismatic Evolutions reprint in 2025.
The original Uncommon printing, illustrated by Megumi Mizutani.
The Ultra Rare version, also by Megumi Mizutani.
A Special illustration rare, illustrated by Ryota Murayama.
She is the researcher whose Area Zero time machine brought ancient Paradox Pokémon, including Koraidon, into the present.
No. The real Sada died before the game begins; the player deals with an AI copy of her.
Our catalog lists 4 Professor Sada's Vitality printings across 2 sets: Paradox Rift (2023) and Prismatic Evolutions (2025).
