Charcadet in the anime

Amethio's Ceruledge was shown to have been a Charcadet during his childhood, as revealed in The Truth Revealed!. The species debuted properly in The Terapagos I Don't Know, living in ancient Paldean fort ruins, and reappeared in HZ102 when it helped calm a Laquium-afflicted Scovillain before being caught by Liko.

Charcadet's first cards are two 2023 Scarlet & Violet Commons illustrated by Souichirou Gunjima and nagimiso. Paldea Evolved added Commons by takuyoa and KEIICHIRO ITO, and Obsidian Flames and Paradox Rift each contributed further Common printings. Paldean Fates carried both a Common by nagimiso and a Shiny rare by Masakazu Fukuda, and Stellar Crown and Surging Sparks added Commons by Krgc, Kariya, and Mékayu. Teeziro drew an MEP Black Star promo. The Mega Evolution era also has a Phantasmal Flames Common by Tomokazu Komiya and a 2026 Pitch Black Common by Ryuta Fuse.
