Charizard-GX SV49 leads Hidden Fates at $768.10 on Cardboard Alpha's October 6, 2026 evaluated prices, and the 94-card Shiny Vault holds 92.4 percent of a $3,749.58 one-of-each run.
Charizard-GX SV49/SV94, the Shiny Vault's shiny Charizard, is the most valuable card in Hidden Fates. Cardboard Alpha's evaluated price for a raw Near Mint copy was $768.10 on October 6, 2026, about 2.4 times the next card, Umbreon-GX SV69/SV94 at $321.00.
The 94-card Shiny Vault holds 92.4 percent of the $3,749.58 it cost that day to own one raw Near Mint copy of all 163 cards. The 69-card main set costs $284.39 in total, about 37 percent of that one Charizard-GX.
One caution travels with these prices: all 94 Shiny Vault figures, and 149 of the 163 overall, are quoted TCGplayer market prices, not sales recorded that day.
Hidden Fates released in English on August 23, 2019, as a special Sun & Moon expansion, per The Pokémon Company International and Bulbapedia. The company's launch notice credits it with the first TAG TEAM trio card, Moltres & Zapdos & Articuno-GX, and with Shiny Pokémon such as Mewtwo-GX and Charizard-GX.
Bulbapedia counts 163 English cards: a main set of 69 (68 numbered plus a secret 69/68) and a Shiny Vault of 94, numbered SV1 to SV94. It calls the Vault mostly Sun & Moon reprints of Shiny Pokémon with an embossed holofoil finish. TCGplayer and Cardboard Alpha's catalog list it as a separate set.
The launch notice lists a Pin Collection (August 23, 2019), Tins (September 6), an Elite Trainer Box (September 20), a Poké Ball Collection (October 4) and an Ultra-Premium Collection (November 15), none of them a booster box. Bulbapedia says packs came only inside such products, each pack holding ten cards, an Energy and a code card.
This review found no Hidden Fates pull-rate study from The Pokémon Company or TCGplayer's Authentication Center, so none is quoted. How pull rates work in general is covered separately.

Cardboard Alpha evaluated prices, raw Near Mint, October 6, 2026. One main print per card; Brock's Training 55 and Misty's Water Command 63 are catalogued only as reverse holos and use that print. Medians are rounded half up to the cent.
The Vault's 39 Pokémon-GX are SV46 to SV80 plus the four Tapu GX at SV91 to SV94, and its Stadiums are SV87 to SV90. GX cards across every set are ranked separately.
The cheapest Vault card, Oranguru SV44 at $2.15, costs more than 55 of the 69 main-set cards. Forty-nine main-set cards priced under $1.00; no Vault card did.
The Charizard chase
Charizard-GX SV49 alone is 20.5 percent of the one-of-each cost. The main set's regular Charizard GX 9/68 was $9.69, so the shiny card costs 79.3 times as much.
TCGplayer's price history shows how often the card trades: seven Near Mint sales in the 72 days from July 26 to October 5, 2026, at item prices from $700.00 to $899.68. The last of them, $799.98, fell in the three-day window starting October 3, and TCGplayer's market price read $768.10 in every window from September 21 to October 5.
Shiny Vault. Evaluated price, raw NM, $138.02 on October 6, 2026.
Cardboard Alpha's Charizard price guide across every era quotes TCGplayer's September 26, 2026 market price for the regular Charizard GX, $10.14, so it differs from the $9.69 evaluated price here, which blends asking prices with the prior evaluation.
Shiny Eeveelutions and Cynthia
Five shiny Eeveelution GX cards sit in the top 15: Umbreon-GX at $321.00, Sylveon-GX at $224.49, Espeon-GX at $135.12, Leafeon-GX at $75.31 and Glaceon-GX at $57.77. Together they come to $813.69, 21.7 percent of the set and more than Charizard-GX alone.
Shiny Vault Supporter. Evaluated price, raw NM, $184.01 on October 6, 2026.

Cardboard Alpha evaluated prices, raw Near Mint, one main print per card, stamped versions excluded, October 6, 2026.
How these prices are formed
Cardboard Alpha publishes one evaluated price per card per day. On October 6, 2026 the 163 main prints rested on three kinds of evidence:
Quoted TCGplayer market price: 149 cards, $3,491.63 or 93.1 percent of the total, including all 94 Shiny Vault cards.
Asking prices blended with the prior evaluation: 9 main-set cards, $78.33.
Sales that day: 5 main-set cards, $179.62. Four blend two or three same-day sales with recent sales and asks; Jessie & James 68/68 rests on one trade.
TCGplayer says its market price averages recent completed sales and ignores outliers, so a quote describes past trades, not a trade on the day.
Sealed product
TCGplayer market prices carried in Cardboard Alpha's sealed ledger for October 6, 2026:
Booster pack: $48.90
Tins: $167.34 (Gyarados GX) to $178.11 (Raichu GX)
Graded copies: raw cards only, so no PSA, CGC or BGS price or population figure appears.
Stamped, promo and jumbo versions: the Battle Academy 2020 deck-stamped reprints Bulbapedia lists, the promos in the Pin Collection, Tins and Elite Trainer Box, and jumbo cards are excluded.
Other languages: English cards only.
One date only: every price is a single October 6, 2026 read, not a trend.
Charizard-GX SV49/SV94 from the Shiny Vault. Cardboard Alpha's evaluated price for a raw Near Mint copy was $768.10 on October 6, 2026, about 2.4 times the next card, Umbreon-GX SV69/SV94 at $321.00. The main set's regular Charizard GX 9/68 was $9.69, and its most valuable card, Jessie & James 68/68, was $74.99.
How many cards are in Hidden Fates?
Bulbapedia counts 163 English cards. The main set has 69, numbered 1/68 to 68/68 plus a secret 69/68, and the Shiny Vault has 94, numbered SV1 to SV94. TCGplayer and Cardboard Alpha's catalog list the Shiny Vault as its own set.
How much does a complete Hidden Fates set cost?
One raw Near Mint copy of all 163 cards came to $3,749.58 on Cardboard Alpha's evaluated prices for October 6, 2026: $3,465.19 for the Shiny Vault and $284.39 for the main set. The 41 reverse holos add $65.99. Promos, stamped versions and jumbo cards are not included.
Are Shiny Vault cards worth more than regular Hidden Fates cards?
In aggregate, yes. On October 6, 2026 the Shiny Vault's median card was $12.09 against $0.30 in the main set, and its cheapest card, $2.15, cost more than 55 of the main set's 69 cards. All eight cards priced at $100 or more were Shiny Vault cards.
Is there a Hidden Fates booster box?
No. The Pokémon Company's launch notice lists a Pin Collection, Tins, an Elite Trainer Box, a Poké Ball Collection and an Ultra-Premium Collection, and Bulbapedia says packs came only in merchandise like these. None of the 18 English Hidden Fates sealed products in Cardboard Alpha's catalog is a booster box.
What are the pull rates for Shiny Vault cards?
This review found no Hidden Fates pull-rate study from The Pokémon Company or TCGplayer's Authentication Center, so none is quoted. Bulbapedia says each pack held ten cards, an Energy and a code card, but not how often a Shiny Vault card appeared.

Rochelle works in sales as an account executive serving escrow and mortgage teams, a field where a price means little without comparable sales behind it, and brings that comps-first instinct to cards: what individual cards are worth, how whole sets and eras have held their value, and how a card's sold history differs from what sellers are currently asking. Each guide is built from published pricing and population data first, cites every source inline, and is fact-checked against those sources before it is published.
